Protection of Whistleblower
- The contents of reports and identity of reporters will be kept strictly confidential.
- The whistleblowers' identities will not be disclosed without his/her prior consent. Even in case of his/her consent to disclosure, the disclosure will be limited to the scope that whistleblowers agree to.
- Good faith reporting will suffer no disadvantage or discrimination.
- Even if the reporter is also involved in the misconduct being reported, the voluntary reporting will be taken into consideration as a mitigation factor.
Rewarding System
- 1. Reward applies to
- Both Employees and non-employees
- 2. Reward Criteria
- In case the reporting contributes to the Group's loss protection, profit recovery and/or cost reduction.
- In case the reporting helps find unethical acts such as receiving bribery or entertainment, etc.
- 3. Limit for Reward
- The criteria for determining the recipients and the corresponding reward amounts are established in accordance with internal regulations and guidelines.
- 4. Ineligible for Reward
- In case the report proves untrue or unverifiable.
- In case the reported matter has been already open to the public or recognized by Business Ethics Team.
- In case the reporter cannot be identified due to anonymous or false-name reporting.
- In case the reporter is a staff or employee of the Business Ethics Team or its related organizations.
- Other cases where rewarding is considered as improper or unreasonable.
- 5. Reward Payment
- The reward shall be paid in the manner not to reveal the recipient's identity after deducting the withholding tax.
